Welcome to Meads, Eastbourne
Living at The Meads means more than just a beautiful home, it means becoming part of a vibrant, close-knit coastal community with the South Downs behind you and the sea ahead.
Eastbourne is a place where everything feels within reach: great schools, independent shops, green spaces, and the shimmering sea all combine to offer a lifestyle that's both grounded and full of possibility. With direct access from the development onto the South Downs, it’s easy to lose yourself in rolling hills and big skies, be it a romantic evening stroll, weekend adventures with the kids, or a daily dog walk that starts just steps from your front door.

The Meads
Meads sits to the west of the town centre and extends from the Town Hall to the foot of the South Downs. It’s popular for its spacious tree-lined roads, substantial Edwardian and Victorian properties and thriving High Street.

Lower Meads
Lower Meads is home to Eastbourne’s Devonshire Quarter. Made up of the Towner art gallery, International Lawn Tennis Centre and the Congress and Devonshire theatres, it has been subject to a £54m transformation.
Within the surrounding network of quiet, leafy roads, you’ll find some of the town’s most prestigious homes. There is an abundance of apartments and period architecture here.

Meads Village
Continue west towards Beachy Head and you’ll find Meads village which forms the original heart of Meads. Along with a primary school and preparatory school, it features a square of 19th Century artisan dwellings tucked behind the High Street and an excellent range of shops with a couple of cafes and pubs.
A wide range of property styles, excellent amenities and its idyllic location bordering the seafront and Downs contribute to Meads’ enduring appeal.
